Location Pastor - Vintage South Bay
Payroll Status: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
An exciting opportunity to join the Vintage team and be the primary leader and teacher at our second location - Vintage South Bay. We have over two hundred people and a core staff team ready to launch this location.
The Vintage South Bay Location Pastor will be the primary teacher, pastor and leader at the Vintage Church location in the South Bay area (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, etc.) and will launch the 2nd Vintage Church location outside of Santa Monica.
The person in this role must have significant leadership and teaching ability, high capacity, embody the five core values of Vintage Church (ie word, spirit, formation, mission and family) and have a strong passion for the local church. They will be the primary leader in charge of the launch and growth of this new location.
Qualified candidates will have:
An excellent, mature and developed teaching gift
5+ years of senior pastoral experience in a charismatic ministry context (Holy Trinity Brompton church network or Vineyard).
Key Responsibilities
Launch and lead the new Vintage Church South Bay location:
Manage the new Location according to the Vision, Values and Mission of Vintage Church.
Preaching, Teaching, Leading
Outwork core Vintage ministries at the South Bay location including Alpha, Youth and Kids
Oversee, train and ensure the health of ministry teams and programs
Recruitment of Volunteers, Leaders and staff
Discipleship and Formation of the church
Management of Staff & Operations in cooperation with the Vintage central services team
Pre-launch:
Sunday Launch Team Gatherings: scheduling, planning, executing, shepherding, and vision-casting at Sunday Launch Team Gatherings alongside the Launch Team
Have a regular presence in the broader South Bay community; networking, sharing the vision and engaging people to join the church
Other general Pastoral and ministry duties, as assigned by the Senior Pastor
Requirements & Experience
An excellent, mature, developed teaching gift
5+ years of senior pastoral experience in a charismatic ministry context (Holy Trinity Brompton church network or Vineyard).
An excitement about and mature embodiment of the vision, mission and five core values of Vintage
A deep resonance with humble charismatic expression and Alpha
Commitment to humble, loving Christian orthodoxy
Strong pastoral and relational connection with a community with a lot of young families.

Pay Range
$100-150k annually
