VKids / Nest (Mom’s Group)
Help to support and create a fun and positive experience of church for our families and the next generation.
Activities include: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Curabitur commodo odio sit amet leo vestibulum condimentum. Proin nunc nunc, fringilla a urna in, tristique vestibulum est.
Shifts available:
Sundays: 7.45am-9.30am, 9.30am-11.15am,
Thursdays: 8.30-11.30am
Serving commitment: Regular / ongoing commitment (not suitable for short-term or one-off serving) background check required.
Prayer Team
Enabling others to encounter God through prayer and presence. Grow in your ability to hear God’s voice, walk in God's Kingdom and minister to others through prayer.
Activities include: Sunday Prayer Team: Pre-service prayer, Prayer Ministry Team. Kingdom Come Ministry Team (includes set-up and tear down as well as prayer ministry during the evening).
Shifts available:
Sunday Service Prayer Teams: 8am-9.45am, 9.45am-11.30am 11:45am-1.30pm
Kingdom Come: 4.30pm-8.30pm (prayer huddle and dinner is provided)
Serving commitment:
Sunday Service Prayer Team: Regular / ongoing commitment (not suitable for short-term or one-off serving). Kingdom Come: can serve as a one off as a group, or more regularly (monthly event). Attending one of our quarterly Prayer Ministry Training session is required before you can sign up.
Kitchen Team
Bring coffee joy to our entire church family and guests. Jump in behind the scenes to prep coffee and café supplies!
Activities include: Ensure the café is stocked, Help measure beans, brew great coffee, and keep things running smoothly. Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and fully functional.
Shifts Available: 6-8am, 8am-10am, 10am-12pm
Serving commitment:
Set Up Team
Start the day strong! Church doesn’t get started without this valuable team. Lay the physical foundation for our hospitality by preparing all spaces before guests arrive.
Activities include: Help wheel out carts, set up the cafe, get everything ready before service begins – and you don't miss a thing, you’ll be done by the time the service starts!
Shifts Available: 7.15-8am
Serving commitment:
Parking Team
Be the friendly face outside! Create a welcoming first impression, helping guests feel seen and valued from the moment they arrive.
Activities include: Direct people where to park and avert parking woes! Help with parking validation (yes you get to use the stamp!) and hand out welcome cards to first-time guests in the visitor lot.
Shifts Available: 7.30-9am, 9.30-11am, 11.15pm-12.30pm
Serving commitment:
Welcome Team
Be the first smile people see! Create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere with warmth and attentiveness.
Activities include: Greet guests at the door, help them find a seat, and pass offering baskets during the service. After the offering, you can sit and enjoy the rest of the service - all done!
Shifts Available: 8.00-9.15am, 9.45-11.00am, 11.30pm-12.45pm
Serving commitment:
Cafe Team
Keep the caffeine and treats flowing! Be a welcoming face to everyone who stops by. Serve our church family and guests the coffee and donuts that they love.
Activities include: Refill coffee, donuts, cups, and lids. Serve and direct people to options as needed. Conversation with church members and newcomers.
Shifts Available: 8.00-9.15am, 9.45-11.00am, 11.30pm-12.45pm
Serving commitment:
Tear Down Team
Help wrap up the day with a helping hand. Many hands make like work, so no-one has to stay too late!
Activities Include: Taking down gazebos, pack up carts, and bring café supplies back into the kitchen. Resetting, cleaning up, and making it easier for the next event to start fresh.
Shifts Available: 1.15pm-2pm

Connect Tent Team
Be a doorway into the life of Vintage - where people take their first step into community. The Connect Tent serves as the threshold where people move from attending to belonging. It’s where we help people feel seen and heard, and get personally invited into all the ministry opportunities we have on offer.
Activities include: Being a welcoming and informative touchpoint, hanging out at the Connect Tent on the sidewalk.
Shifts Available: 7.45-9.30am, 9.30-11.15am, 11.30pm-12.45pm
Serving commitment:
Meet & Eat Hosting
At Vintage, we want everyone to feel like they belong — not just in theory, but around the table with others. That’s why, every 2nd and 4th month, we host a Buy Your Own Lunch meetup. We invite trusted community groups to help host, so new people have a chance to plug in and feel at home from day one.
Activities include: Meet people by the Meet & Eat Flag after the service. Host and connect with others in our community (many who are new!). Engage in conversation in a relaxed setting at a buy-your-own lunch at a local eatery.
Shifts Available: 1.15-3pm, 2nd and 4th Sundays
Serving commitment:
Alpha A-Team
Serve people who are exploring, or questioning faith through hospitality. Help to create the environment where they can experience God in profound ways – or even for the first time.
Activities include: Serving food or drinks at the Alpha Pub, set-up and tear down, ushering people to rooms and to dinner.
Shifts Available: 6.15pm-10.15pm, Tuesday evenings
Serving commitment: At least 6 out of 9 evenings per Alpha course.
VSOD A-Team
Enable others to dive deeper in discipleship and community through creating a space where they can grow in following Jesus.
Activities include: Serving food or drinks at the Alpha Pub, set-up and tear down, ushering people to rooms and to dinner.
Shifts Available: 6.15pm-10.15pm, Monday evenings
Serving commitment: For at least 6 out of 8 evenings for one term.
