Ways to support our partners
We have ongoing relationships with the Love LA partners listed below, supporting many of them for a number of years through volunteering and giving of resources. We are excited to support them in their Christmas giving efforts this year! Visit the Giving Tree table on the sidewalk in between services on Sunday, November 23rd and 30th, to collect a gift tag and join in the giving.
The Salvation Army
Donate gifts to children from low income families on the west side - families will collect these gifts at the Toy n Joy events so they have something to put under their trees! We will also be donating 50 gift cards for teenagers.
Claris Health
Claris Health provides medical, mental health, and support services that equip and care for individuals and their families, before, during, and after pregnancy. This year, we’re organizing wellness bags for moms and gift cards to support new and expectant families being supported by Claris Health.
Keep LA Warm (Salvation Army)
We are collecting items to bless our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness this Christmas. This includes blankets, sleeping bags, coats, socks, hats, gloves and more.
Compton Initiative
The Compton initiative has a mission to bring hope and restoration to the city of Compton. This year, we are partnering with our friends there to contribute items needed for building Faith Community Church’s community garden, a project we have been preparing for across our last several Compton Serve Days!
Harvest Home
Gift a Child a Toy. We love to bless the moms and babies living at Harvest Home, especially at this time of year. This year, we will be collecting items and gift cards for the new moms and newborns living at their home!
Olive Crest
Olive Crest transforms the lives of children and families in crisis through the healing power of God, family, and community. In addition to supporting families in and out of foster care, Olive Crest recently opened a drop-in center to support boys and girls under 18 who are being trafficked in LA. This year, we are stocking their drop-in center with gifts for these children!

How it works:
1: Register your Gift
The tag you have chosen explains the details for the gift you will e responsible for purchasing!
Please scan the QR code on the back of your tag to register your gift. For Keep LA warm and Compton Initiative items, you will find the link to the Amazon wishlist on the event registration pages!
2: Purchase
Shop for the gift! This can be in person, online, or via an Amazon wishlist, depending on which tag you took. Wishlist items will be delivered directly to the church or our partner!
3: Suggested Spend
Your tag will indicate the value or suggested price rangeof the gift you have chosen to purchase, where relevant.
4: Return Gift + Gift Receipt + Tag
For all non-wishlist gift items, please bring your unwrapped gift, gift receipt, and tag back to Vintage on the next two Sundays, with final gifts due on December 7.
Gift Card Sleeve
Pick up a gift card sleeve on Sunday to help someone in need this winter! Take a sleeve, place a store gift card inside, and keep it with you. This way, you’ll be ready to offer help when you see someone on the street who could use a little extra support. Sleeves are available at the Giving Tree stand.
Volunteer Opportunities
Join the Vintage team who will be sorting toys and prepping gift bags ahead of the Salvation Army’s toy party for families.

Join the Vintage team at a gift giving party at The Salvation Army. Volunteers are needed to organize gifts and distribute them to families and kids.
Toy n Joy Gift Party
December 19, 8.30am - 1pm
Volunteer at Claris Health’s Adopt-a-Family pick up party. Elves are needed to help with: helping families to their car with their gifts, taking photos, assisting with signing photo waivers and thank you notes, helping with or donating crafts or snacks for the day.

Join us as we prepare and serve dinner to our unhoused neighbors experiencing homelessness, while building community. This is our special Christmas themed night, with extra fun activities and festivities!
Christmas Outreach Dinner

Every year Vintage hosts a Christmas party for the alumni moms and kids who have lived at Harvest Home. This is such a great time of celebration! Full of gifts, crafts, food and fun! We need your help to put on a great event and there are various roles that need filling!

LOVE LA this advent by donating food to local partners
Over 2 million people in Los Angeles County currently face food insecurity, with limited or uncertain access to adequate food due to a lack of money and other resources. The need is at an all time high right now and we have partnered with the People Concern to collect non-perishable items that families in LA currently need!
