The Renewal Committee oversees budget and project accountability, working closely with our board and pastoral team to ensure each phase of this project aligns with ministry goals and stewarded resources.
Alyssa Montgomery
Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives
Alyssa brings over 15 years of leadership experience from the Tech industry, guiding organizational strategy, project execution, and team development to Vintage. Since summer, she has been excited to shift her effort for focus mainly on the success of the Renewal Project and teams.
Matt Ayers
Board Member
Matt works in finance and runs a private wealth management practice in Los Angeles. He and his family have been part of the Vintage community since the very beginning, and he played a key role in leading the Uni High location and planting South Bay. He has served as Treasurer on the board since 2015, helping guide the church’s growth and vision.
Bryan Fairbanks
Volunteer Member
Bryan is Managing Director at Stockdale Capital Partners, with a background in civil and construction engineering and real-estate development. He and his family have been part of the Vintage community since 2019.
Ben Ipekjian
Paid Resource
Ben joined the Renewal Project in 2023, as a referral from Ben Brosseau, bringing years of experience managing adaptive reuse, commercial, and historic restoration projects across Southern California. He is serving our teams as construction manager and owner’s representative.
Design Team:
The Interior Design Team collaborates with architects and ministry leaders to shape spaces that are both beautiful and functional — places that feel like home for our church family and inviting for our city.
Ger Jones
Senior Pastor & Board Member
Following a career in Law and Brand Management, Ger made the move into full time ministry. He earned his M.Div. at Regent College in Vancouver and first pastored in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ger and his wife Lizzie followed God’s call to plant Vintage Church in Santa Monica in 2011.
Jonny Bell
Pastor, South Bay Location
After studying Art at College, Jonny became a Youth Pastor. He has been on staff at Vintage since 2018, leading youth, discipleship, and creative ministries before planting and pastoring our South Bay Location. His passion for ministry and art are brought together in his role as Creative Director for our ministry spaces.

Kat brings a decade of experience at several design-led businesses (Tesla, Apple, and Rivian). She transforms vision into scalable programs that drive impact and innovation. Translating ambiguity into structured, scalable programs that drive organisational impact.
