Communities Intern

Responsibilities 

Leader Support & Development

• Assist in preparing training materials and resources for Community Group Leaders

• Support communication with leaders (emails, follow-ups, reminders)

Group Administration & Systems

• Assist in onboarding new leaders and members

• Help manage digital resources and resource library

• Track attendance, engagement, and leader updates

​​Events & Logistics

• Assist with planning and execution of Community Group events

• Coordinate setup/teardown for gatherings and trainings

• Help manage supplies and materials for Community Groups

Content & Curriculum Support

• Assist in preparing discussion guides aligned with sermon series

• Help organize and distribute curriculum materials

Pastoral & Ministry Formation

• Participate in regular supervision and mentoring with the Communities Manager

• Receive ministry coaching in leadership, discipleship, and conflict navigation

Church-wide

• Support events and pre-event operations designated as “all-staff” work days

Developmental Goals

• Understand how to build and sustain healthy small group ministries

• Develop skills in volunteer leadership development

• Gain experience in church systems and ministry administration

• Grow in pastoral sensitivity and conflict awareness

• Strengthen personal leadership capacity and spiritual maturity

• Typical Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday

• Occasional evening events
