We’ve been imagining what the Ministry Center will be like for months. It’s surreal to step inside and beginning to see it come to life.
At 1019 California Ave, the details are starting to tell the story. New windows are bringing in natural light, drywall and insulation are covering the framing, rooms that once existed only in plans on paper are beginning to feel like real places. These spaces will be where people will gather, relationships will grow, and ministry will happen.
And as we look ahead, we’re finding ways to carry our history with us. The original walls and preschool murals will remain, preserving pieces of Vintage’s story as we make room for what comes next. An elevator and pedestrian ramp will also help make the building accessible, creating a place where people of all abilities can feel welcome.
Thank you for helping make this possible. Your generosity is part of what’s bringing this place to life, and we’re grateful to share the journey with you.
Take a few minutes to watch our latest update, and if you’d like to see the progress in person, just respond to this email. Please continue to pray for the building, the workers, and all that will one day happen within these walls.
We’re also looking forward to sharing more about our grand opening events soon, be on the lookout for more details!
With Gratitude,
Alyssa Montgomery
